Important Film Making Tool - Green Screen Hollywood

The chroma key has many names, the hottest being green screen. It's also called blue screen and color separation overlay. Using the green screen involves the process of putting 2 images together. A non-permanent background---the green screen--- is used as an alternative to a background that will be used in a picture. Without green screen Hollywood technology, hits that need plenty of visual effects would not be possible. The result of this would be dull movies that depend on tight shots and studio props. A world without this screen technology would limit cinematic visionaries from following their creative ideas.

In the olden days, the color blue was the common color used as a backdrop for visual effects. This was first employed in the 1930's. After the 1930's it was employed in one or two Technicolor films. This at last paved the way for other cinematic inventions. The first film that used chroma key was the film adaptation of Ernerst Hemingway's "The Old Man and the Sea." plenty of other movies followed in kind with the use of chroma technology. Some notable films that used chroma key screen technology are Star Wars, Jurassic Park, The Matrix, Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, and Titanic.

The screen was used when more scientifically sophisticated cameras and film equipment were developed. Green became the favored background color because it is susceptible to light. there is no real need for intensive lighting when using this color. Also, it produces clean and clear lines and produces less noise. This is why green screen Hollywood technology is employed generally.

When shooting with chroma key screens, many important things must be considered. First, never use substandard lights and film equipment because this will make shots messy and even coarse. Always use dependable cameras and other kit whenever shooting with a screen. This way, the standard of the film won't be compromised. Bear in mind that the purpose of using this screen is to supply visually stunning movies. Using poor quality equipment will defeat the goal of employing a screen.

Big flick studios have chroma key technology screens, but for those filmmakers in tight budgets, they can make customized screens with paint or green fabric. Only creativeness and guts is required to make a screen. Anyone that is driven to make a picture can take advantage of green screen Hollywood technology even without an actual studio.
